Noah Taj
Co-Principal Editor
Noah Taj completed an MA in Religion at Carleton University, where he is now pursuing his doctorate at the Institute of Comparative Studies in Literature, Art and Culture (ICSLAC). His research is funded by SSHRC and investigates the Qūnawī-Ṭūsī correspondence by theorising on the epistolary form as a locus for literary and philosophical interaction. He has published a number of peer-reviewed articles and offered developmental editing for dissertations as well as copy editing for monographs.
Tariq Elsaid, LMSW, TIIP
Co-Principal Editor
Tariq Elsaid completed his Master of Social Work with a Graduate Certificate in Critical Translation Studies at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. His capstone project explored and demonstrated the usage of culturally competent psychotherapy through the translation of an Arabic lyric, which landed several poetry awards, publications, interviews, and an Editorial Board position at the National Association for Poetry Therapy. Tariq has since served as a reviewer for Taylor & Francis and published a research article in the International Review of Psychiatry. He is a fully certified Traditional Islamically Integrated Psychotherapist (TIIP) through the Khalil Center.
Sana Arif
Typesetter & Social Media Management
Sana holds a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical and Chemical Engineering, bringing over five years of expertise in content creation, social media strategy, and academic typesetting. Her academic training endowed her with advanced typesetting skills, honed through scholarly writing, thesis formatting, and protocol documentation. She built and curated a Bookstagram community of more than 26,000 followers while partnering with leading publishers and independent bookstores to deliver authoritative book reviews and promotional campaigns. During her time at Azahara International, Sana managed and led the social media presence while contributing to the development of its library; seamlessly integrating digital strategies with literary curation.
